The two sides discussed, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, developments in the situation in Iraq and the region, and a discussion of the future relationship with the alliance and cooperation mechanisms.
Minister Al-Hakim pointed out the importance of strengthening Iraq’s role in defending its sovereignty and avoiding it to be an arena for conflict.
