    Information/Baghdad..
The director of the Mosul Dam Project, Riyad Ezz al-Din, confirmed today, Thursday, that there is no technical problem that threatens the safety of the dam, indicating that the current water levels cannot threaten the safety of the Mosul Dam.
Izz al-Din said in a press conference followed by “Al-Ma’louma” that “the water level in the Mosul Dam is below the threat level,” pointing out that “no threat can be recorded as rumored in some media outlets.”
He added, "The administration is able to pass 19 thousand cubic meters per second without the collapse of the Mosul Dam, since the dam recorded a storage vacuum of about 11 billion cubic meters."
He pointed out that "the storage in the Mosul Dam is considered dead because it is without the ability to operate the hydroelectric station, while the dam has been suffering from the problem of gypsum layers since its construction." End 25 minutes
