    Information / Baghdad
Member of the Parliamentary Health Committee, Bassem Al-Gharabi, announced today, Friday, that the radiation protection law will be presented in the first session of the next legislative term.
Al-Gharabi told Al-Maalouma, “The Presidency of the House of Representatives agreed to present the law in the first session of the House of Representatives within the next legislative term, indicating the need to provide justice to workers in radiation fields who are employees of ministries and government departments and to restore their rights stipulated in the Radiation Protection Law.”
He added, "This segment deserves support and support and a guarantee of their rights, given the volume of work, perseverance, and risks resulting from working in an environment that bears multiple challenges," pointing out that "the draft law includes several provisions, and there is parliamentary agreement to proceed with voting on it."
He pointed out that "the committee is serious about supporting workers in the radiation field in all state institutions and ensuring their rights."
It is noteworthy that workers in the radiation field are exposed to challenges at work, which requires increasing their allowances and guaranteeing their rights. Ended February 25
