Today, Friday (May 10, 2024), the head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, called for providing decent living opportunities for the families of the martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces and distributing plots of land to them.
Al-Hakim's office said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", "The head of the National International Forces Alliance visited, today, Friday, the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Muthanna Governorate, where he met a number of fighters," noting that "Al-Hakim stressed that the Popular Mobilization Forces has a large footprint." In defense of Iraq and its sanctities."
Al-Hakim affirmed, according to the statement, “The Popular Mobilization Forces are marking their start, movement, and contribution to the liberation of the occupied areas from ISIS,” noting that “We have mercy on the martyrs of Al-Muthanna from the Popular Mobilization Forces, whose number exceeded 600 martyrs, and we also recalled the biography of the leaders of Al-Nasr.”
He stressed his "high appreciation and pride in the members of the Popular Mobilization Forces who are stationed or martyrs who died defending land and honor," noting "the necessity of providing decent living opportunities for them and the families of the martyrs and distributing plots of land, with the importance of starting with the families of the martyrs and the wounded."
Al-Hakim called for "commemorating the exploits of the martyrs by documenting their heroism, naming the streets after them, and recording the feats, stories, and heroics because they belong to the people and generations."
