Today, Saturday, the Chinese company ZPEC won the investment in the field (East Baghdad - Northern Extensions), as part of the fifth and sixth complementary licensing rounds.
This morning, the launching ceremony of the fifth supplementary and sixth licensing rounds for oil and gas fields began, in the presence and patronage of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
The tour includes 29 projects for oil and gas exploration fields and patches, distributed among 12 Iraqi governorates.
The activities included competition between the companies applying for projects attached to the fifth supplementary licensing round and the sixth licensing round, which includes oil and gas fields.
