    [size=45]Representatives of Egypt, Morocco, and Qatar praised an Iraqi proposal presented by the head of the Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, to establish a Council of Heads of Arab Law Enforcement Agencies concerned with integrity and anti-corruption, while Hanoun stressed that combating corruption requires a joint Arab effort across law enforcement agencies in Arab countries.[/size]

    The Chairman of the Federal Integrity Commission held several meetings with the heads of the regulatory bodies in the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Morocco participating in the fifth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention.[/size]
    [size=45]Judge Haider Hanoun stressed, during the meetings held on the sidelines of the fifth session of the Conference of States Parties to the Arab Convention against Corruption, the necessity of guarding and monitoring public money from the greed of the corrupt, warning of the danger of the scourge of corruption on security, the economy, investment and development, and its cause of widespread unemployment, poverty and a decline in corruption.     [size=45]While the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority in the State of Qatar (Hamad bin Nasser Al-Misnad) expressed his optimism in developing the relationship between the Iraqi and Qatari sides in all fields, expressing the desire to learn about the Iraqi experience and benefit from it in combating corruption, especially in the preventive aspect of it, and especially conflicts of interest. He confirmed the imminent conclusion of the memorandum of understanding with the Iraqi Integrity Commission, which he confirmed had finalized its draft.[/size]
    [size=45]While (Mohamed Bashir Al-Rashidi), Chairman of the National Commission for Integrity and Prevention in the Kingdom of Morocco, stressed the importance of strategies to identify the phenomena of corruption and its risks and find effective solutions to them, noting that the strategies contribute to raising levels of integrity and reducing levels of corruption in public and private sector institutions.[/size]
