Today, Thursday (September 21, 2023), the Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that there is a government intention to increase the salaries of a group of retirees during the coming period.
Committee member, Jamal Kujar, told Baghdad Today, “The head of the Retirement Authority revealed to us during his hosting of the committee today, that there is a government intention to increase the salaries of the lower grades of retirees by 100 thousand dinars, but without revealing when this increase will be implemented and its mechanisms.” detailed".

Earlier today, Thursday (September 21, 2023), the Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed an expected increase in the salaries of the lower grades of retirees.
Today, Thursday, the committee hosted the Chairman of the National Retirement Authority, Maher Rashid Al-Bayati, the Director-General of the State Employees Fund, and the accompanying delegation, to discuss the work of the Authority and the procedures for amending the Unified Retirement Law.
