    An official source reported, on Monday, that Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi summoned, using his influence, 1,000 security personnel from the Federal Police to protect his convoy and his family, despite the great power he possesses.

    The source said in a statement to the “Al-Ma’louma” Agency, “The head of the Taqadum Party, using his influence, had earlier summoned a security force of 1,000 security personnel from the Federal Police Forces to protect his convoy, his house, and his palaces that were established in Anbar, despite the presence of a large security force assigned to him from Baghdad as president.” Parliament".
    He added, "Al-Halbousi has a large security convoy equipped with bulletproof four-wheel drive wheels that accompanies him on his official and personal tours," noting that "the issuance of orders from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to reduce the number of officials’ protection will contribute to the return of hundreds of members of the security forces who were discharged."
