Today, Thursday (October 5, 2023), Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to the capital, Moscow.
Putin said on the sidelines of the International Forum (Valdai) in the resort of Sochi, Russia, "We welcome the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister of Iraq to Russia."
He revealed that he "will discuss with the Iraqi Prime Minister security in the region and inside Iraq," expressing his "confidence that the visit will be fruitful and come at the right time."
A government source revealed to Reuters yesterday, Wednesday, that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani will go to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 10 and 11.
