    [size=45]On Monday, the United States expressed its support for the talks and understandings between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, prior to an upcoming visit of the regional government delegation to the Iraqi capital.[/size]
    [size=45]These statements come at a time when a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government is preparing to go to Baghdad on the first visit since the formation of the new government headed by Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani.[/size]
    [size=45]A delegation from the US Consulate General in Erbil visited the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region. The delegation consisted of Deputy Consul General Zahra Bell and Head of the Economics Department of the Consulate, Hess Bailey.[/size]
    [size=45]The Minister of Finance and Economy, Awat Sheikh Janab, expressed his full support for the new Iraqi government, and expressed his hope "to solve the outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad within the framework of the constitution and the law and to obtain the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people," according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement quoted Sheikh Janab as saying that the government delegation will visit Baghdad "soon" to discuss Kurdistan's share of the federal budget for the year 2023.[/size]
    [size=45]He explained that another part of the visit's talks will include discussing the oil and gas file and resolving it within the framework of the constitution.[/size]
    [size=45]The US consular delegation confirmed its support for the continuation of talks and understandings between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government, according to the statement.[/size]
    [size=45]A delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government is scheduled to visit Baghdad in the coming period. The visit was supposed to start tomorrow, Tuesday or Thursday.[/size]
    [size=45]The Chief of the Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers Office, Omid Sabah, said that the regional government delegation is still waiting for the federal government to determine the date of the visit.[/size]
