    Economy News _ Baghdad
    The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, announced today, Tuesday, the resumption of flights on Iraqi Airlines between Baghdad and the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
    The Ministry of Transport quoted Al-Saadawi as saying in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, that, “Given the increase in travel requests to the People’s Republic of China, and in light of the increasing demand for Green Bird flights at Iraqi airports, the General Company for Iraqi Airlines worked to operate the Baghdad-Kwangju route.” Within the national carrier's flights.
    Al-Saadawi added, “Starting today, Tuesday, October 10, the General Airlines Company has resumed its direct flights to the People’s Republic of China, and they will be two flights per week, every Saturday and Tuesday, according to flight schedules.”
