Resumption of flights between Iraq and China

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Transport announced today, Saturday, the resumption of Iraqi Airways flights to China.

The ministry stated in a statement that Al-Furat News received a copy of it, that "under the direct supervision of the Minister of Transport, Captain Nasser Hussein Al-Shibli, and the follow-up of the General Manager of the company, Captain Kifah Hassan, all the fundamental approvals have been obtained to resume flights between Iraq and China."
Transport explained, "This came through agreeing to implement all health conditions approved by the two countries to ensure the safety of travelers, instructions and conditions required by the Chinese health authorities, as well as adopting new contexts in the travel of Iraqis to China and allocating part of the flight seats for Iraqi travelers who obtained visas and fundamental approvals. "To enter the Chinese territory and allocate a direct weekly flight as a first stage."
She pointed out that "work is also underway to resume air cargo flights and cargo transportation because of their wide importance in increasing the volume of trade exchange between Iraq and China, and work is underway to increase the number of flights in the future to accommodate larger numbers of travelers."
