    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq Today:

Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed that the Iraqi government is “ready to resume oil exports via the Turkish Ceyhan pipeline,” pointing to understandings with oil companies operating in northern Iraq. [/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Sudani pointed out during his participation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the activities of the Russian Energy Week REW Forum in Moscow, that “export stopped following the decision of the international arbitration panel in Paris and also because of the effects that accompanied the earthquake on the Turkish side (of the pipeline), which was subject to examination and inspections,” he continued. Iraq recently received “notice from friends in Turkey that the line is ready to resume exports.” [/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Sudani pointed out that “the line transports oil from Kirkuk and also from the Kurdistan region of Iraq,” adding that there are oil companies operating in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, “and we have understandings with them in light of what was stipulated in the budget law for the year 2023.”[/rtl]
[rtl]The Prime Minister also indicated that "the Federal Ministry of Oil is continuing its meetings and understandings with companies and the Ministry of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Region, stressing that" a formula of understanding will soon be reached so that exports can begin through this pipeline and will be within Iraq's commitment within OPEC and OPEC+.”[/rtl]
