    The committee supervising the implementation of the “My Account” project announced, today, Thursday, that 3 new banks have joined the “My Account” electronic financial project.[/size]
    [size=45]“My Account” is a project that allows public sector employees, retirees, and security forces to receive their salaries in a safe and transparent manner, as all employees can receive their salaries via electronic withdrawal devices, as more than 1,000 devices are scheduled to be installed throughout the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
    [size=45]The committee sent a message to some employees, in which it said: “We are pleased to announce the addition of 3 new banks to the “My Account” project, which are Bank Assyria, Bank (BBAC), and the National Bank of Iraq,” adding, “Now you have more options to choose between one of these banks.” “.[/size]
    [size=45]Noting that “some of these banks do not have banking services throughout the Kurdistan Region.”[/size]
    [size=45]Thus, the number of banks participating in this project reaches five, which are: Ashur - Cihan - RT - BBAC - The National Bank of Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]In this regard, Hewa Effendi, Head of the Technology and Information Department of the Kurdistan Regional Government, said: “More than 107,000 employees have registered in the (My Account) project in its first phase, and bank cards will be issued to them.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “During the past two weeks, 79,000 employees were registered, and data was prepared for 21,144 employees and sent to banks to open their own accounts and receive their salaries via electronic withdrawal machines.”[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, made a visit on October 11, 2023, to the General Directorate of Erbil Police to follow up on the progress of registration work in the (My Account) project.[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister said in his speech, “The (My Account) project will facilitate the process of distributing the salaries of public sector employees in the region, and its scope will be expanded to include the private sector as well, which will benefit all citizens.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “We are in contact with the federal government, with the federal prime minister, and with the governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, and I informed them that the success of an accounting project in the Kurdistan Region will benefit all of Iraq.” They were pleased with this, provided many facilities, and expressed their support for us in this regard.[/size]
