    A member of the Kurdish Tafkari Azadi movement, Luqman Hassan, confirmed on Monday that the ruling family in the region stands against opening branches of banks affiliated with the federal government inside Kurdistan, pointing out that the ruling party seeks to prevent the financial file in the region from reaching any other authority, party, or government.

    Hassan told Al-Maalouma, “The Kurdistan Democratic Party practices the centralization of the authoritarian family that controls the reins of power in the region, as this family does not believe in and does not allow any other authority or government to handle the financial file in the region.”
    He added, "The aforementioned party's control over the region has its effect, as it prevents any action by any other party or government from controlling the financial and administrative file."
    Hassan pointed out that "it is impossible for the Kurdistan Democratic Party to agree to open branches of government banks in Sulaymaniyah or Halabja."
    He stated that "the aforementioned party seeks not to open government banks in Sulaymaniyah and Halabja in order to prevent the federal government from disbursing funds, issuing loans, or distributing salaries through these banks, and therefore opening banks is considered impossible." Ended 25 n
