On Monday, Israeli media revealed details of a visit made by Mossad Chief David Barnea to Qatar last week, and his meeting with senior Qatari officials in Doha to discuss their efforts in trying to secure the release of Israeli prisoners held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.[/size]
[size=45]Israeli Channel 13 quoted Israeli officials as saying, “The Israeli cabinet decided last Thursday to expand the army’s ground operations in the Gaza Strip after refusing to provide Israel, via Qatar, with a list of the names of all prisoners held by Hamas.”[/size]
[size=45]Earlier, a member of the Hamas political bureau, Musa Abu Marzouk, confirmed that the movement is not concerned with any innocent person among the Israeli prisoners in Gaza, calling on Israel to cease fire so that they can release them.[/size]
[size=45]The head of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Al-Sinwar, also indicated that the movement is ready to release all its civilian prisoners, when the field conditions become suitable for that.[/size]
[size=45]The war on Gaza has been continuing since dawn on Saturday, October 7, after the Hamas movement launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood.”[/size]
