[size=45]Completion rates in the container yard project, in the large Al-Faw port, south of Basra, rose to 67%, after filling huge areas with millions of tons of “space” in preparation for paving the yard, which is scheduled to accommodate two million containers annually.[/size]

[size=45]This project is one of the five major Al-Faw Port projects, which are:[/size]
[size=45]Submerged tunnel project[/size]
[size=45]Sidewalks project[/size]
[size=45]Navigation canal project[/size]
[size=45]Link road project[/size]
[size=45]Container yard project[/size]
[size=45]Before the project was launched in 2022, this place was submerged in seawater to a depth of (5-6) meters, and surrounded by a rock wall.[/size]
[size=45]The container yard extends over an area of 2,000 meters in length and 600 meters in width.[/size]
[size=45]More than 6 million cubic meters of space material was used, and we reached a height of 2 metres.[/size]
[size=45]The designated height of the container yard is 4.1 metres. We will use 10 million cubic meters of space material to reach this height.[/size]
