    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed to the Secretary-General of the Organization for Digital Cooperation, on Tuesday, Iraq's need for support to transition towards the digital economy.
    The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by Al-Maalouma, that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met with the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, Dima Al-Yahya, on the sidelines of his Excellency’s participation in the Davos Economic Forum held in Switzerland.”
    During the meeting, Al-Sudani confirmed that the government is introducing the necessary technical skills for artificial intelligence into school curricula, in order to qualify the Iraqi workforce to compete globally in the future labor market.
    His Excellency also referred to government plans aimed at employing artificial intelligence in the field of water and agriculture, and Iraq’s need for support in the field of digital health, the field of transformation towards the digital economy, and the banking sector, as well as in the field of training.
    For her part, Dima Al-Yahya expressed her interaction with Mr. Sudanese’s proposal, and extended an invitation to Iraq to join the Digital Cooperation Organization. Ended 25 n
