[rtl]The Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence announced today, Thursday, the suspension of receiving requests for entry visas (visit), while indicating the adoption of an alternative electronic mechanism.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Directorate stated, in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, that “in implementation of the directives of the Minister of the Interior, to facilitate procedures and spread automation in work in order to reduce time and cost and eliminate routine, and under the supervision of the Director General, Human Rights Major General Nashat Ibrahim Al-Khafaji, it was decided to stop receiving requests for entry (visit) visas.” .[/rtl]
[rtl]She added: “Only electronic applications will be approved, starting today, Thursday, 2/1/2024.”[/rtl]
