    The Presidency of the Kurdistan Region announced, today, Tuesday, that a delegation representing it met in the United States with a number of senior officials in Congress and exchanged views with them about American relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and the latest developments in the region.[/size]
    [size=45]The Kurdish delegation met with members of Congress, Michael Rogers, Chairman of the Military Committee, Adam Smith, member of the Military Committee of the Democratic Party, Michael Waltz, member of the Military and Foreign Affairs Committee and co-chair of the Kurdish-American group in the US Congress, and Jim Baird of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Congress, indicating that the two sides held several meetings and exchanges. Viewpoints on US relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and the latest developments in the region.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement issued by the Presidency of the Region explained that the delegation of the Presidency of the Region renewed its thanks and appreciation for the support of the US Congress for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and requested its continued provision of aid and support to the Kurdistan Region, pointing out that the two sides discussed the latest steps to unify the Peshmerga forces and the reform process in the Ministry of Peshmerga, and highlighted the dangers of Terrorism and ISIS threats to Iraq and the region.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added that the delegation of the Regional Presidency was headed by the head of the Regional Presidency’s Office, Fawzi Hariri, and the membership of the Assistant to the President of the Region for Foreign Policy Affairs, Falah Mustafa, official of foreign and diplomatic relations in the Regional Presidency, Niaz Saleh Mustafa, and in the presence of the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Trifa Aziz, and the delegation is scheduled to meet during its visit. America held a number of meetings and meetings with American officials.[/size]
