    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Today, Tuesday (April 30, 2024), Representative Mudar Al-Karawi revealed Sudanese messages from his repeated foreign visits, which include regional countries as well as major countries, who were and still are influential inside Iraq.
Al-Karawi said in an interview with “Baghdad Today” that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani is trying to balance his external relations, at the regional and international levels, in a region suffering from polarization and crises that cannot be ignored, because they are influential and effective internally, and because of them, Baghdad suffered major problems.” Especially in the security file for many years, which disrupted the reconstruction and development projects for which 40 million Iraqis paid.”
He added, "The most important axes of Sudanese messages in his foreign visits are the emphasis that Iraq wants stability and balanced and open relations with all parties, and to exploit its capabilities and wealth to build economic balances that will reflect positively on the peoples of the region, instead of conflicts and debates, especially given the state of the local economy." It is complicated, as it continues to rely on oil revenues as a primary resource, despite the push and pull in the markets from time to time.”
He pointed out that "70% of the files that the Sudanese discuss in his foreign visits depend on direct economic paths to attract companies and investments, and seek to formulate a strategy that moves to benefit from the wealth of other countries, and reformulate a new concept of the economy that is more powerful in facing financial challenges."
He continued: "Countries have become more understanding of Iraq's exceptional situation, and there is support for its steps in development, and this explains the interest of many countries in its projects, including the strategic development path."
During this month alone, the Sudanese visited Washington, the capital of the most powerful country in the world, as well as Saudi Arabia, the largest country in the region, in addition to receiving the Turkish President, the head of one of the largest countries in the Middle East and influential in Europe.
