[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed: “Iraq will witness a revolution of projects to invest in water wealth in a way that will be reflected in the overall agricultural reality.”
A statement from his media office stated: “The Sudanese chaired, this evening, Wednesday, a special meeting on the files that were agreed upon during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Iraq several days ago.”
Al-Sudani pointed out, according to the statement, the importance of this visit, which represented a turning point in relations between the two countries, and the necessity of following up on the implementation of agreements and memorandums of understanding to achieve the highest interest of Iraq.
The Prime Minister directed that the Ministries of Water Resources, Agriculture and Municipalities provide the required projects in the water sector in aspects related to dam projects and river lining, as well as projects related to water management, desalination and treatment, based on the agreements concluded with the Turkish side in this regard, indicating: “Iraq will witness a revolution.” Of projects to invest in water wealth, which is reflected in the overall agricultural reality.”
He also directed, according to the statement, all the ministries that signed memorandums of understanding with the Turkish side to prepare an action plan and timetables for each file, to be submitted within a maximum period of two weeks, to be discussed and followed up. He also directed the formation of the seven committees concerned with following up the framework agreement with the Turkish side.
The meeting discussed the aspects of the development road project, given the economic and developmental importance it represents, and making it a basis for developing and consolidating relations between the two countries./End 2[/rtl]
