    Information / Baghdad..
Today, Wednesday, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Moeen Al-Kadhimi, held the government responsible for the delay in sending the general budget schedules for the current year, noting, “Article 70 obligated the government to submit amendments to the budget schedules.”
Al-Kadhimi told Al-Maalouma, “The government is continuing the disbursement process, especially with the projects that are under the Prime Minister’s attention.”
He explained, “The allocations to the governorates are being delayed by the Ministry of Finance,” noting that “the tripartite budget is sufficient for the government’s work and there is no need or rush to send the schedules.”
He continued, "The current legislative term is about to end, and if the schedules are not sent within these days, the Council will head toward its legislative recess and postpone the issue until next June." Ended / 25 H
