    [size=45]Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, announced the opening of 48 collective lines in six governorates, while noting that red buses will reach all cities.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Saadawi said in a statement, “The government curriculum gives great importance to the mass transportation sector, as it targets an important segment of society,” noting that “The General Company for Transporting Passengers and Delegations has so far opened six lines in different areas of the capital, Baghdad.”[/size]
    [size=45]He stated that “the service plan aims to open 72 lines throughout Baghdad,” pointing out that “the lines operating in Baghdad have so far reached 25 lines, and 124 single- and double-decker buses are operating on them.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued, “Nineveh Governorate has witnessed the operation of nine mass transit lines, to which the company has so far allocated 31 buses, and it is ready to cover any increase in demand,” pointing out that “there are 25 buses operating within 6 mass transit lines in Salah al-Din Governorate and in Basra.” Five buses operate on two lines, and the same applies in Najaf Governorate.”[/size]
    [size=45]He stated that “Diyala Governorate includes two mass transit lines, while 12 buses (coasters) belonging to the Passenger and Delegation Transport Company operate for the Northern Electricity Company, and there are two lines for the Northern Gas Company.”[/size]
