[rtl]The UAE's Dana Gas Energy Company announced on Wednesday that it and its partners have taken the necessary steps to resume production operations from the Khor Mor field in the Kurdistan region of Iraq in stages, while implementing new measures to ensure maximum safety for all workers and facilities.[/rtl]
[rtl]Dana added in a statement to the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange that this came based on the concrete measures taken by the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to radically strengthen the defenses at the Khor Mor site, in addition to strict commitments from the highest levels within these authorities.[/rtl]
[rtl]The field was attacked by a drone on Friday, killing four contractor employees working on the site, injuring others and temporarily suspending production.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Emirati company, Dana Gas, announced that one of the liquid storage tanks within the facilities of Pearl Petroleum’s Khor More field in the Kurdistan region of Iraq was attacked by a drone last Friday evening.[/rtl]
[rtl]The company said in a statement that this attack led to the death of four contractor employees and the wounding of eight others with minor injuries.[/rtl]
[rtl]Dana added that although there was no significant damage to the facility, to ensure the safety of its employees and operational facilities, production operations were temporarily suspended, and procedural changes were introduced.[/rtl]
