The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met this evening, Friday, with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, on the sidelines of his participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance and strengthen them.” Economic partnership, for the benefit of the Iraqi and Armenian peoples.”
He added: “The meeting also witnessed a discussion of the regional and international situation, and a review of the events in Gaza. For his part, Pashinyan conveyed the greetings of Armenian President Vahagen Khachaturian to His Excellency, and his desire to visit Iraq as soon as possible. In order to expand the horizons of cooperation between the two countries, and to look forward to consolidating the partnership with Iraq.
