[size=45]“On February 26, a telephone conversation took place between the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Middle East and African Affairs, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, with the President of the Al-Mada Foundation for Media, Culture and Arts, President of the Iraqi Council for Peace and Solidarity, Fakhri Karim.[/size]
[size=45]During the call, the Russian side expressed words of support and solidarity with Fakhri Karim, who was recently subjected to an assassination attempt in Baghdad. At the same time, the forces behind this crime have been strongly condemned, seeking to silence honest and objective journalists who speak from a position of moderation, tolerance and patriotism.”[/size]
