    On Sunday, the Iraqi President discussed with the National Security Advisor and a number of officials “the latest developments in the region,” and stressed the need to reduce tensions and not expand the circle of conflict.[/size]
    [size=45]The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement, received by Shafaq News Agency, that President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received, today, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji and a number of officials in the National Security Advisory.[/size]
    [size=45]During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed the security situation in the country, the importance of protecting stability and ensuring the security of citizens, and preserving the gains achieved in the field of combating terrorism and pursuing its remnants and sources of financing.[/size]
    [size=45]The meeting touched on, the statement says, the situation of detainees and detainees in prisons and the need to continue releasing those whose sentences have expired. The meeting also examined the conditions of the displaced and the plans drawn up for their return to their original areas and the closure of all camps.[/size]

    [size=45]For his part, the National Security Advisor gave a presentation on the security situation and the plans put in place to maintain stability in the country, praising the proposals of the President of the Republic in preserving the achievements achieved and joining efforts to establish security and stability, according to what was stated in the statement.[/size]
