    Baghdad today - Baghdad 
    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani agreed to pay the salaries of officers and members of the former Iraqi army. 
    A document issued by the Integrity Committee / Office of Representative Raad Al-Dahli dated (March 12, 2024), a copy of which was obtained by “Baghdad Today”, indicated “obtaining the Prime Minister’s approval to instruct the Ministries of Defense and Finance to pay the salaries of officers and members of the former Iraqi army for the period (from 2003). /4/9 until 9/24/2005) equivalent to two years and five months, as they were referred to retirement pursuant to Cabinet Resolution No. (30) of 2005 and are considered continuing for the aforementioned period.”
