More than 900 educators receive “entitlements” from the Education Fund

Today, Monday (May 20, 2024), the Ministry of Education announced that more than 900 educators have received their dues within the Central Education Fund allocations for the current month.
The ministry said in a statement, received by “Baghdad Today,” that “more than 900 educators included within the Central Support Fund of the Ministry of Education received their financial dues, after the Minister of Education and the head of the fund, Ibrahim Namis al-Jubouri, and the members, approved their granting of monthly allocations prepared for humanitarian and health cases.” .
He added, "904 educators were granted financial sums for surgical operations, 14 exceptional health cases, and one fire case, in addition to 6 others who were about to get married."
According to the statement, the Minister of Education stressed “the Ministry’s keenness to include the largest possible number of eligible educational beneficiaries, according to the transactions received into the Fund, in order to reinforce the principle of social solidarity.”
