    [size=45]The head of the Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, confirmed that there is broad governmental and judicial support for the commission, and while he confirmed that Iraq had received Arab and foreign praise for its efforts to combat corruption, he revealed the intention to hold training courses for Arab and foreign parties to benefit from the Iraqi experience.[/size]
    [size=45]Hanoun said, “The Federal Integrity Commission has many specializations based on which it works in multiple aspects, including prevention, awareness, and enhancing integrity. An example of this is our current work with the new governors and the governorate councils, where we found clear cooperation.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued, “We have noticed from governors, members of provincial councils, and heads of councils a trend toward staying away from what violates the law and that there is a trend to serve the citizen,” explaining that “the government supports anti-corruption institutions and oversight bodies, and it is part of the government program and the general policy of the state that has directed itself to combating corruption and made it a priority.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued, “Integrity enjoys direct support from the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani through the allocation of funds to perform its role in the aspects of awareness and education and what is related to the international aspect, memorandums of understanding, relations and international agreements with Arab, Islamic and foreign countries to support Iraq’s efforts in recovering the looted funds and enhancing the work of the Integrity Commission and its capabilities.” As well as supporting the judiciary that supports integrity in its efforts to combat corruption.”[/size]
    [size=45]Hanoun, on the other hand, stated that “Iraq chairs the Arab Network for Promoting Integrity and Anti-Corruption, which has several aspects, the first is institutional, the other is civil society, and the third is international observers. In addition, the network is supported by the United Nations Development Program and the Korean Integrity Support Agency, as these institutions and other institutions from Including the Arab League, it gave the network effective strength in performing its role.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued, “The strength of the network as a unique device of this kind lies in that it brings together official institutions, civil society and international organizations to achieve many requirements for Iraq and the Arab countries, including that through this network we can inform the Arab countries and the world as well of the successes that have occurred in Iraq over the past year and a half in The field of combating corruption,” explaining that “Arab and foreign countries and institutions praised Iraq’s role in combating corruption and asked to benefit from our experience because Iraq has practical experiences in this file.”[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed that “many training courses will be held in Iraq in the field of combating corruption, and there are courses for cadres from the Federal Republic of Russia and we have dealings with China and with other Arab and foreign countries,” pointing out that “there will be an exchange between training cadres and trainees at the level of both the Iraqi and other sides.” Countries".[/size]
