The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced today, Tuesday, the completion of discussing the staffing law and submitting it to the House of Representatives for voting tomorrow.
The Parliament's media department stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the Finance Committee, headed by Atwan Al-Atwani and attended by its members today, held a meeting during which it hosted the expert and legal advisor Obaid Mahal, at the committee's headquarters regarding the twenty-first amendment to the Staffing Law No. 25 of 1960, where it was voted on and submitted to the House of Representatives for voting during tomorrow's session."
Al-Atwani stressed "the Finance Committee's keenness to complete the law in the appropriate form and sign it in order to address the problems that accompany a large segment of employees to grant employee entitlements, raise housing and meet their needs."
According to the statement, "the Finance Committee raised a set of issues and observations related to the law, with the addition of job titles that suit the need according to the labor market."
He added, "The committee completed drafting the law and voting on it within the committee and submitted it to the Council Presidency to vote on it during the next Council session tomorrow, Wednesday."
