    The Ministry of Trade will begin, in the middle of next month, the process of updating data for the electronic ration card in the Rusafa side of Baghdad, and the rest of the governorates.

    The Director General of Planning and Follow-up at the Ministry, Talib Hassan Nema, said that his ministry will begin, in mid-September, the process of updating the data of the electronic ration card in the Rusafa side of Baghdad, in addition to the districts and sub-districts of the remaining governorates.



    He pointed out that his ministry had updated the data for the Karkh side in addition to the governorates of Najaf, Muthanna, Karbala, Kirkuk and Dohuk, noting that citizens can update it electronically without coming to the centers, and carry out the process of division, transfer and addition for holders of the unified national card.

    Nima explained that his ministry has 25 supply branches in the country, including seven in Baghdad and three in the region, in addition to its possession of 573 supply centers in Baghdad, the governorates and the region, pointing out that his ministry has begun rehabilitating the building of the new Rusafa Supply Branch established at the Rusafa Sales Center, to begin launching the automation of the ration card in it during the next short period, to organize the distribution of the ration card and document the agents' operations for the operations of deletion, transfer and addition, according to the official Al-Sabah newspaper.
