    Information/Baghdad...
Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Mustafa Sand, confirmed on Thursday that OPEC had asked Iraq to reduce its oil production due to the region’s oil exports.
Sand stated in a post on social media, followed by / Al-Maalouma /, that "the Secretary-General of OPEC visited Iraq and asked the government to reduce production in compliance with the decision of (OPEC Plus)."
He added that "the organization informed Iraq that the region exports 5% of its production through tankers, which is considered under OPEC's approved sources and published in the stock exchanges and bulletins approved by the energy market, and is calculated on the country's share, and the quantity required to be reduced from (130 to 220) thousand barrels per day."
