Shafaq News/ The Iraqi army announced on Monday that the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Special Forces, Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, chaired a security meeting (Sunday evening) to discuss the situation in the region.
According to the statement, the meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, along with the commanders of the arms (land, air, army aviation, and air defense) and the Director of Planning.
The attendees discussed the security situation in the region in general, as well as the challenges facing the security forces in light of regional changes.
According to the statement, the readiness of the Iraqi security forces to ensure the highest levels of security and preparedness for any emergency that may arise was discussed, within the framework of enhancing security and stability in the country.
