[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari visited the Explosives Control Directorate today, Monday, and was briefed on the most important duties and tasks carried out by the directorate.
The minister stressed, according to a statement from his office, the continuation of training the staff of the Explosives Control Directorate and developing their capabilities. He directed cooperation with the organizations supporting the training.
The minister stressed the need to intensify efforts at external checkpoints and airports, and to respond quickly to all calls and work on immediate presence and rapid movement in the event of any emergency.
On the sidelines of the visit, the minister inaugurated two new buildings in the directorate, and directed to provide the directorate with juvenile officers and contract police and provide it with various vehicles, including specialized ones, praising at the same time the work of this directorate and the achievements made by its cadres. / End9[/rtl]
