Service Effort of {Sabah}: Including 500 Projects in the 2025 Plan

The Service and Engineering Effort Team revealed that the plan for next year 2025 will include 500 projects in Baghdad and six governorates.
The team leader, Engineer Abdul Razzaq Al-Maliki, said in a statement to Al-Sabah: The team prepared the plan for next year in coordination with the heads of local teams in the governorates and representatives of all municipal departments, adding that it will include 500 service projects in the country, 260 in Baghdad and 240 in six governorates: Maysan, Muthanna, Diwaniyah, Dhi Qar, Salah al-Din and Babylon.
He explained that the plan focused on infrastructure projects with the highest priority, which are water and sewage complexes and roads, in addition to health and electricity sector projects, stressing that these projects were prepared by the aforementioned parties according to priorities and population density, and will soon be submitted to the Council of Ministers for approval and implementation once their allocations are available.
Al-Maliki stated that his team has instructed all local teams to nominate important and urgent projects from the 2025 plan to be included in the appendix to the current 2024 plan for completion now, noting that this procedure includes any urgent project for which the team has received appeals from citizens. In the same context, he explained that the team has followed a strategy to ensure that projects are completed within their contractually specified times, which includes forming supervisory committees that include sewage and water departments and all municipal departments with representatives of the companies implementing the projects and the relevant sectoral bodies, which follow up on the projects and their completion rates and address their conflicts. The team also replaces committees that are negligent in their work and takes legal action against them. He stressed that the team received significant financial and administrative support from the Prime Minister's Office in order to overcome the difficulties facing the success of the work, revealing in the same context the existence of technical and design obstacles facing its work, the first of which is the existence of random areas without plans and violations that the team cannot remove without referring to the competent authorities, noting that most of the areas included in the plans are nominated to it by the sectoral authorities with their review by the team's data collection committee and approval by the Prime Minister's Office.
