Direction to transfer beneficiaries of the protection network to the Social Security Law

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is moving towards transferring beneficiaries of the protection network to the Social Security Law by encouraging them to enter projects in the labor market and including them in approved lending programs. The ministry’s spokesperson, Najm Al-Aqabi, told Al-Sabah that his ministry is moving towards adopting a new electronic system that is compatible with amending the Loans Law and the amount of money granted to borrowers according to their projects, so that beneficiaries can complete the legal procedures for their transactions accurately, and in accordance with the population ratios of the unemployed in the governorates registered in the ministry’s database in the (electronic professions platform).
He revealed that there is a trend by the ministry to transfer beneficiaries of social protection to the Social Security Law by encouraging them to enter projects in the labor market and including them in the lending programs it adopts through the (Arzaq) application, as a large number of loan beneficiaries have been included to establish their own projects.
