    Minister Nouri al-Maliki said that Iraq would continue to inspect
    planes and trucks headed to Syria, to ensure that transfers of arms to
    both sides in the conflict.

    Iraqi channel quoted the
    semi-official Al-Maliki say today that "Iraq will continue to inspect
    planes and trucks that cross the airspace and territory of Iraq toward
    Syria."

    "This procedure is to prevent the flow of arms to Syria for the Syrian regime or the opposition."

    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed that Iraq will go on searching the trucks and the airplanes heading to Syria to prevent supplying weapons to any of the conflicting sides.
    The Iraqiya Satellite Channel quoted Maliki as saying “Iraq will keep on the trucks and the airplanes that pass through the airspace and the territories to Syria.”
    “This is to ensure prevention of supplying weapons to the Syrian regime or opposition,” he concluded.
