His Excellency the President of the Kurdistan Region receives new coordinator for the White House and Deputy Assistant U.S. Secretary of State

Mr. Massoud Barzani received the President of the Kurdistan region on the first Thursday evening in the resort of Salah al-Din, Mr. Phil Gordon new coordinator for the White House and Mr. Brett Makkourk the new Deputy Assistant to the U.S. Secretary of State for Iraq, Iran and the accompanying delegation.
At the outset of the meeting, welcomed the President Barzani delegation visitors, especially new coordinator for the White House who is visiting Iraq for the first time, view and perspective of the Kurdistan Region on the latest developments in Iraq, also touched on relations between the province and the federal government, stressing demands political and constitutional for the region and it will not be a party to the conflict Iraqi sectarian between the parties.
In another aspect of the meeting, both sides reviewed the political situation in the region and the peace process in Turkey and the complicated situation in Syria.
