    The
    Iraqi Defense Ministry, revealed on Monday that Iraq will receive a
    first meal of American f-16 planes by the end of the year, and confirmed
    that Russian weapons will enter Iraq to extradite in 2014, a gesture
    that went to buy arms from around the world.

    And Defense Minister
    Saadoun al-dulaimi said that "Iraq will receive by the end of this year
    a batch of u.s.-made f-16 aircraft," shows the number of aircraft

    Iraq had signed an
    agreement with Washington to buy 36 fighter aircraft f-16s, the Iraqi
    Government has announced (September 2011), the payment of the first
    instalment of the value of the transaction for the purchase of 18
    fighter jets of this type, while the Defence Ministry said, (3 July
    2012), the Iraqi Government's desire to increase the number of such
    planes in "near future" to protect Iraqi airspace.

    The f-16
    produced by Group General Dynamics, and exported to some 20 countries,
    the most widely used fighter in the world. Reinforcing this deal comes
    under the security agreement signed between Baghdad and Washington at
    the end of November 2008, which provides for training and equipping
    Iraqi forces.

    The Iraqi Cabinet was paid $ 1 billion in the last
    year as the first batch of the planes, a contract worth 16 then
    announced (22 may 2013) providing other amounts for the transaction
    itself, it was in urgent need of reinforcement, with the cover all
    amounts of military equipment will consume much of the resources of the
    State.

    In related news, Al-dulaimi said that "Iraq will receive
    the first batch of Russian weapons in 2014 under a deal signed between
    Baghdad and Moscow worth 4.2 billion dollars," pointing out that "the
    delay in the procedures for implementing the contract due to switch
