    Should the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, provide a convincing justification for some of the "opposition" political parties to postpone the local elections.

    Presumably, according to the law of the provinces, that the Commission provide the reasons for the delay, so that the government decides, as happened when the elections were postponed in Anbar and Mosul in 2013 for a few months.
    It is expected that Prime Minister formally announce the postponement of local elections in the country, after sending the Office of President of the Republic, on Thursday, a letter to the Commission informing them of the postponement of local elections and integrate Balbrlmanah 2018.
    He revealed Wael al-Waeli, head of electoral administration in the Commission, for the last received a letter from the presidency of the republic asserts that "three presidencies met on holding provincial elections or not, and made a decision to postpone provincial elections until the day of holding the fourth session of the House of Representatives election for the purpose of holding each Alasthakakin election in one day".

    The government has delayed, in 2013, elections in the provinces of Nineveh and Anbar, for about three months due to the security situation.
     
    Abadi decide
