Basra Governorate Council revealed on Thursday the suspension of 92% of the investment projects in the province, attributing the reasons to stop financial and administrative corruption and the lack of any amounts allocated by the government for the completion of those projects.
The head of the Integrity Committee in the Council Mohamed al-Mansoori told / information /, said that "about 92 percent of the investment projects in the province completely stopped working despite the arrival of a large number of them advanced stages of labor."
He added, that "the truth about the causes of these projects is to stop financial and administrative corruption in addition to the failure to allocate any amounts in the current year's budget for the completion of those projects."
Mansouri pointed out that "The Council called on the federal government to allocate sufficient funds for the completion of lucrative projects or refer them to invest according to the percentage of completion and will be approved in the budget next year." Finished / 25 d
