Opening new border ports between Iraq and Iran
The Iranian Interior Ministry has agreed with the Iraqi authorities concerned to open border crossings to cross Iranian pilgrims to perform the visit of the Imam Hussein's four-day pilgrimage a month before the start of the visit and agreed to open new border posts.
"According to the agreement between Iran and Iraq, the Khosravi port will be opened in Kermanshah province in western Iran," the Iranian news agency Mehr reported Friday.
The agency said that "based on this agreement, the perpetrators of Shalmja and attractive border in the province of Khuzestan and the executors of Mehran and Khosravi in the provinces of Ilam and Kermanshah will open its doors to receive visitors Arbini this year and if the number of visitors will open the port of Sumar also where the number of border crossings with Iraq five" .
It is noteworthy that three border ports between Iran and Iraq were receiving visitors last year during the visit to Arbaeen.
