(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The delegation of the House of Representatives headed by First Vice-President Hassan Al-Kaabi arrived Saturday in Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the activities and work of the 139th Session of the IPU Conference.
A statement of the Office of al-Kaabi received the agency {Euphrates News} copy of it that "the parliamentary delegation, including the deputies of all Talabani, Vian Sabri, Ahmad Kanani, Adnan al-Zarvi and Abdullah al-Kharbit."
"The meeting will begin on Sunday with the participation of the Iraqi delegation, the preparatory consultative meetings of the Arab and Islamic groups. The session of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) will be held on Sunday, and will continue for five days in a row and in the presence of the presidents and representatives of parliaments of the world."
He pointed out that al-Kaabi "will deliver the speech of Iraq to the parliamentary delegations participating in the conference, which reviews the developments of the Iraqi scene of the formation of the three presidencies, and emphasis on deepening cooperation in parliamentary relations with various countries of the world and contribute to the reconstruction of the provinces liberated from terrorism, Water file and other issues ".
