    Minister Mohammed Hashim al-Ani said that the decisions of the economic and development summit to be launched in Beirut will be in the interest of the Iraqi economy. 
    Minister al-Ani said that Iraq will certainly have a major intervention in some of the decisions of the economic and development summit held in the Lebanese capital Beirut and these decisions are in the interest of the Iraqi economy, "noting that" the decisions and items that will be discussed tomorrow at the summit, Was held in Cairo a month ago headed by Iraq, which are mostly developmental and social and represent the Arab Economic and Development Summit
    He added that" Iraq has a large area at the summit, because it discussed food security and the subject of empowerment of women and Arab children and mechanisms to deal with the crises of poverty and unemployment and many of the Issues of establishing an Arab free zone, all of which are in the interests of Iraq. "
    "The Ministry of Commerce represents the economic side and we had bilateral meetings with most Arab countries, both ambassadors in Baghdad and ministers of economy in Beirut to activate trade between Iraq and Arab countries and raise trade exchange with them," Al-Ani said. 
    "Iraq has been a member of the Iraqi Trade Facilitation Act, and the previous government made a decision on 1/11/2016 to freeze the membership because Iraq is an importer, not a source, and the mutual benefit is not being realized. There are attempts to open up to the Arab and world economy," al-Ani said. Through the free exchange offered by Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi in his government program, and reconsidering many of the ideas and all are in the interest of the Iraqi economy. "
    Minister of Commerce Mohammad Hashim al-Ani revealed the most important issues to be addressed by the Arab summit on economic, social and economic development in Beirut. He pointed out that the most important issues related to the empowerment of women and the free economy among Arab countries, as well as addressing poverty and finding solutions to the situation of Syrian refugees in Lebanon and food security. Of the paragraphs dealing with the situation in the Arab countries, a step aimed at achieving a unified economic link between these countries.
