The head of the National Parliamentary Bloc Kazem al-Shammari, on Wednesday, that Article 40 in the budget provides for the payment of end of service benefits to the former army.
Shammari said in a press conference held in the House of Parliament and his follow-up Alsumaria News, that despite the weakness in the budget, but there are some paragraphs respond to sectors and segments of the Iraqi people.
He added that "Article 40 of the budget law, which worked on the National Coalition, provides for the payment of end of service benefits to the former army," adding that "the vote was on this article."
"This is part of our stand toward this segment and the Iraqi army."
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives voted during its meeting held this evening, on most articles of the draft budget law for the year 2019.
