Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi said on Tuesday that no major damage was caused by a wave of rain and floods in Iraq.
"We are following the file of rain and floods and there have been no major damage so far," Abdul Mahdi told a weekly news conference.
"We have a comprehensive plan to review the production and distribution of electricity," he said. "We are working to convert grants and loans to the productive sectors to achieve maximum benefit."
Abdul-Mahdi said "the announcement soon about a major project to resolve the housing crisis in the country," noting "the issuance of a decree to form a Supreme Council to combat corruption, framed its functions and configurations."
