The United States Embassy in Iraq announced on Wednesday the removal of hundreds of social [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/8170/%D9%85%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%82%D8%B9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%B5%D9%84]networking sites[/url] established in Iran.
"US e-security companies and social networks in the United States have removed hundreds of accounts of social media originating from Iran," the embassy said in a statement.
"The accounts were linked to an [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] backed propaganda platformcalled the International Virtual Information Union, which was created to spread false news to more than half a million people a month in more than a dozen languages ," the embassy added .
