US law enforcement official Joe Hood said Iraqi lawmakers "do not understand" the reality of the US military presence in Iraq.
He said that he would not comment on the draft legislation in the Iraqi parliament on the withdrawal of US military forces from Iraq, calling for those demanding the exit of US forces to the question of the Chief of Staff of the Iraqi army, Major General Osman al-Ghanmi, On the reality of this military presence and its nature.
